one of the first inked pages from reign of adeodatus which I will use for an inside cover/ chapter art much later in the series. I originaly planned to do the whole thing in color but then I'd never get it done because of the way I write. I'm not fond of screentones for the particular style but I'll eventually figure it out.
I'm having the hardest time making Lucius young... I started his character out as such a man, in ACEM. or as courtney put it, "Lucius is so sexy because you made him so manly and yet he's so vulnerable. He's a guy with a conscience that just tears him to peices." but now without the adultness he's just a bundle of childish-emotion. ...I'm not complaining, that's the point of reign of adeodatus. My brain is just in the process of wrapping around it. that and... you know, they just don't make many characters with wavy/curly hair! accept for the insane lolita shemale/female/male/whathaveyou... I'm nuts about character hair. 90% of the time I make up the characters personality just from drawing their hair. They tend to write themselves as my brain meanders and my hand draws. okay I'm babbeling now... ze webcomic: [link] photo: original distorted linework [link] |

The Twilight sequel has a title: The Twilight Saga's New Moon. I was hoping they'd go with Twilight 2: Still Suckin'.
~Dan Hopper
Anyways, Lucius looks so cool. He looks very stern and angry for a kid.
I really like the animal you made. Did you create a whole new ecosystem for you story too?
sort of, what it came down to is that I just didn't want the royal family army all mounted on horses that would have been so effortless. but the creatures in acem are formulated some of them are 'wild' natural beasties like that one there. While the monsters are a combination of recycled flesh/insectoid/and pleasant things, like babies. haha. Chris gave me that to work with when I asked him how to make them pshychologically disturbing and scary like monsters should be. I don't think I'll actually get the chance to throw some of them in RoA. boo!
If you have some weird wild animal fighting arena... or a nation that uses your monsters as front-line fodder, it -could- play in.....
Anyways, I like mounted cavalry with horns.. Its so menacing.

Militant Agnostic: I don't know and you don't either
You better watch who you're calling a child, Lois, because if I'm a child you know what that makes you? A pedophile, and I'll be damned if I'm going to stand here and be lectured by a pervert.
